Pros and Cons of the Internet

Yes of course, no need any argument to prove that the internet is essential today. Now a days  people unable to contact each other and do their daily activities without internet.  But it is good to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of the internet due to a lot of incidents  that happened in the society of worldwide.

First of all, the internet provides us lot of information. It gave information to our fingertip. Some of them are useful and others fun or hobby. Such as we can update with latest news of worldwide in second by second through the internet. And also internet helps to students from preschools to University.

 Nowadays, online shopping takes a significant place on the internet. People tend to use the online shopping not only because  it is easy and safe, but also it is unlimited capacity. Which means people can shopping not only local market but international market also. 

As another advantage, Online banking is popular among the people. People tend to use online banking rather than visit to bank on foot because it is safety and convenience. They can transfer money in few second to any place in the world.

Email is another significant advantage of the internet. We can communicate with anyone at any place in the world within a second. Such as sending impotent, confidential document is more convenient by Email instead of Post mail. Moreover, online, voice and video communication facility is the most popular communication method through the internet. People can talk with other people at low cost and face to face in the worldwide. 

Beside a lot of advantages as above, the internet has some disadvantages too. 

A main disadvantage is health problems. People used to sit and stay a long time with the internet through the computer or mobile. It will cause to have eye problems and obesity. Because they didn't need to go anywhere to shopping, banking, meet up with other people. They can do it from their room because of the internet.

Cyber crimes are another disadvantage. Nowadays, many cyber crimes happened through the internet. Such as Hacking and blackmailing. Some terrorist groups are tending to hack the most important web base or department. (Ex- Security Department/ Finance Department  of a country). 

Some people addicted to the internet. They cannot live without the internet. They use the internet for bad activities more than useful activities. Such as addicted to porn and became mentally down. 

However, while the internet is a most important facility, people should be educated to understand which the good things and bad things are on the internet. My opinion is, we must use the internet  as we  having developed technology. Then we can get all of the advantages of the technology we have now.
